"Inside my House, Out of my Mind" is my Final Major Project for my photography degree involving a series of self-portraits in which I am recreating events missed out on due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I converted each room of my house into a different scenario, where I am playing a variety of characters. Taking influence from Cindy Sherman, I created this series entirely on my own from the set design to hair, make up, costume and of course, photography. With the help of special effects and post production, I was able to transform myself into a wide range of characters including a fat chef, holy Reverend and an old grandma. Each scenario comes with an accompanying set of portraits of each character and how I have chosen to portray them.
